About Us:

The Liefde Organization was founded in 2013 in Zwolle, The Netherlands, with a mission to create a safe and supportive space for those affected by domestic violence. Over time, a small underground outreach program grew into a recognized initiative serving communities across the European Union and North America. Today, the organization provides individual and family counseling, along with resources, support, and advocacy, to help clients process their experiences, strengthen relationships, and move toward safety and stability. Rooted in compassion and practical action, The Liefde Organization works alongside survivors, loved ones, and communities to break the cycle of abuse and move toward a world free from violence and fear.

Our Mission:

The mission of The Liefde Organization is to end the stigma surrounding domestic violence, support the healing of survivors and their families, and strengthen communities through trauma‑informed counseling, education, and advocacy. Grounded in compassion and respect, the organization works to transform individual lives and systems so that safety, dignity, and love are possible for everyone.
